In the early hours of March 25, 2025, a chilling discovery was made on the roadside near Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. Pastor Praveen Pagadala, a courageous preacher, was found lifeless beneath his undamaged motorbike. There were no signs of an accident—no skid marks, no impact debris, no damage to his helmet. But there were signs of brutality: defensive wounds on his hands, a mangled face, blood-stained wood splinters nearby, and a forceful shoe print stamped on his chest.
Despite police reports labeling it an accident, all signs pointed to something far more sinister—a targeted killing.
Pastor Praveen was no ordinary man. He was a software engineer who walked away from a lucrative career to answer the call of Christ. A passionate apologist, he publicly defended Christianity on Calvary TV and in debates with leaders from other faiths. Through his ministry Sakshi Apologetics, he helped thousands of believers understand and stand firm in their faith.
But his boldness came at a cost.
For months before his death, Pastor Praveen had been receiving open threats from extremist groups. In a desperate video plea, he asked for protection, saying he feared for his life. He even issued a public apology, hoping to defuse tensions. But no protection came.
On March 24, he attended a church event in Kovvur. He never made it home.
This was not an accident. This was a message.
A message meant to silence.
But instead, it has lit a fire of revival.
Even in the midst of grief, Pastor Pagadala’s church is not retreating. His congregation, inspired by his fearless faith, is boldly continuing the mission he gave his life for: preaching the Gospel in the face of persecution.
“We are not afraid,” said one church member. “Pastor taught us to stand. And we will.”
This is the power of martyrdom. Though his body was buried, his witness is alive. The church is growing. The message is spreading. The kingdom of God marches on.
And now—they need our help.
